Thumbnails are not loading completely

The user thumbnails are not always loaded completely. This happens since version 7.8 and is also true for 7.9. Browser is Chrome, cache has been cleared. OS is Ubuntu 14.

It seems that this does not happen using FireFox, but since it's hard to reproduce I can't say for sure.
