Currently running a 1.x version of jQuery, should update to 2.x

cc @JobV We do not older browsers. The purpose of jQuery 1.x is to support old browsers:

jQuery 2.0 is intended for the modern web; we’ve got jQuery 1.x to handle older browsers and fully expect to support it for several more years.
