Fix for AWS Security Group default networking change

What does this MR do?

MR addresses an unexpected change on AWS's end related to the deprecation of EC2-Classic networking where Security Group's now must have a VPC specified, even the Default VPC.

Also deletes a now unneeded SG as well as containing some variable and lint fixes.
