"mirror repository" should be able to prune branches
- Gitlab EE version: 8.9.6-ee a530eae2
- I couldn't find any mention of this in the release notes of 8.10, 8.10.1, 8.10.2, 8.10.3 nor in the bug tracker
We use the "Mirror repository" option to mirror a public Github repo into Gitlab so we can use our own CI infrastructure. It's a 100% mirror, we don't push anything into Gitlab nor do we use the issue tracker etc. The problem is that when we clean up branches on Github they persist on the Gitlab side, cluttering the UI. Since our workflow uses feature branches this gets annoying quite fast.
I'd like to see the "Mirror repository" option be able to automatically prune branches on the Gitlab side if they got removed on Github.
(this is a copy of the issue I filed on the CE project by mistake)
