mobile version of merge requests not viewable on android/chrome

Summary

My phone is not able to display this merge request, at least not within 20 minutes. When asking the browser to load the desktop version, it takes like half a minute until the page is usable.

Not able to display includes:

• tapping any link / button does not lead to any reaction
• scrolling does not work
• zooming does not work

Steps to reproduce

Visit the above link with an android phone with chrome 68.0.3440.91.

What is the current bug behavior?

mobile website unusable on mobile devices.

What is the expected correct behavior?

either no mobile website such that mobile devices use the desktop page. or a mobile version that allows browsing the page.
