reassigning does not work

I am assigned the MR: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/merge_requests/14375

Tim Zallmann asked me to reassign this back to him (I'm not going to do anything on that MR, so I decided to reassign just immediately)

I did /reassign @timzallmann and /assign @timzallmann

nothing of that worked
