Include Merge Request Approvals in Individual Work Bar Tally

I work on many projects on one GitLab project server. Sometimes I am assigned Merge Requests (MRs) and sometimes I am an approver on MRs.

For the MRs I am assigned, the upper right corner navigation bar (sorry, I don't know the name of that bar) provides a tally and link to each of those assigned MRs. image

For MRs on which I am an Approver, I have no way of knowing that there is an MR (or multiple MRs) awaiting my action.

Proposal

As a Merge Request Approver on many projects I want merge requests from all project that require my action (approval) to tally/appear somewhere. I'd also like that tally to link me to the associated MRs awaiting my approval.

I think it would be convenient for Approvals awaiting my action to appear in the upper right corner navigation bar.

If I am (maybe) a master or higher in a particular group to which an Approval is assigned then I'd expect to see my individual tally count reflect the Approval work required of the assigned group.

I would use this to:

  1. Have notice that there is an MR awaiting my approval action
  2. Have a shortcut to that MR so that I don't have to surf to the project and corresponding MR.
