Jira development panel cannot retrieve repos for Jira Hosted

Summary

It was working in the past. But after we upgraded to Jira 8.0.0 and Gitlab 11.8 in February Jira cannot acces repos anymore. Did also an update to most recent gitlab ee 11.9.1 with no difference

Steps to reproduce

  1. Setup JDP like described in docs
  2. The authentication succeeds, but repositories cannot be load: Failed adding the account: [Error retrieving list of repositories]

I deleted all jira dvcs account and also the gitlab jira application account multiple times but with no success.

What is the current bug behavior?

Gitlab returns 404

What is the expected correct behavior?

The repos in Jira but instead just the group name with no repos
