Redesign the Home Page

Overview

• 7th most visited page according to Google Analytics
• 50% bounce rate (viewers leave the page before making any interaction)

Goals

• Redesign the experience to feel more on-brand and consistent with about.gitlab.com
• Improve bounce rate

The home page is currently very simple. It'd be nice to get a UX designer and have them design us a better home page :)

Goals for the home page:

• Include explanations for each product
• Use GitLab branding
• Possibly link the user to various pages for each section in the documentation (Home, API, Admin, Development, etc.)
