How to update docs in history versions

Hi, I'm a technical writer at JiHu GitLab and my name is Qi Zhao.

Recently I came across a problem. Could you please help me take a look?

Code suggestion is a feature that GitLab released in Milestone 15.11 and JiHu GitLab translated the doc from English to Chinese and released it in JiHu GitLab Doc Center. Unfortunately, JiHu GitLab does not launch the code suggestion feature and still has no plan to launch this feature in the near future. So we want to remove this doc from the JiHu GitLab Doc Center.

Since Code Suggestion is a doc released in 16.0, we merged an MR to Branch 16-0-stable-jh and then run the pipeline in the JiHu GitLab Docs repo, but it turns out that the doc still remains. Later, we manually deleted the static file of Code Suggestion in the server and this doc is deleted successfully. However, I wonder if there is a better way to update docs in history versions?

Could you please help me deal with this? Looking forward to your reply and Thank you 🌻
