`gdk run` sometimes fails to start

I often close terminal that is running GDK. If I later try to re-run gdk it fails. Killing the terminal probably leaves a bunch of hanging processes, but only two of them cause me trouble: Postmaster and webpack-dev-server.

could we either:

  • add a gdk kill command to stop/kill things started by GDK run
  • autokill Postmaster and webpack if gdk run fails (possibly with some kind of commandline flag)
