Can't push or pull from my private repository

When issuing a git pull or git push, I see:

fatal: protocol error: bad line length character: No s

My remotes are setup just as they were a few days ago when I wasn't seeing this issue:

origin	git@gitlab.com:svenglar/home.git (fetch)
origin	git@gitlab.com:svenglar/home.git (push)

A run of ssh git@gitlab.com git-receive-pack svenglar/home.git shows:

no such project
