Seeking Feedback on GDK experience
Context
The Engineering Productivity team is seeking input from other GitLabbers on the GDK experience. The intention is to improve the developer experience in using GDK to develop GitLab.
We'd like to use this issue to get feedback on the following areas:
- Development experience using GDK.
- This includes ease-of-use, during setting up of GDK and GitLab to day-to-day development on GDK. Please share any pain points encountered, frequently faced bugs and difficulties, and how you sought to resolve these.
- Unique use cases of GDK
- Some teams may have more unique or esoteric use cases that leads to an uncommon GDK set up. For example, some teams may need multiple instances of GDK running concurrently. We are interested to find out such unique circumstances and find out if some are more common than it seems.
- New improvements to GDK
- If you have any ideas on what needs to be added to GDK, we are open to hear about it.
