docs/howto/runner.md should specify better which IP to select during register
Currently the docs state:
[...]
Run gitlab-runner register --run-untagged --config <path-to-gdk>/gitlab-runner-config.toml
(as your normal user), and follow the prompts. Use http://localhost:3000/
for the coordinator URL,
[...]
This is true only if the user did not follow the advanced configuration, in the case where the advanced configuration has been followed the correct coordinator URL is: http://[IP]:3000
.
I found this issue by going trough a brand new GDK setup since I am just doing my on-boarding.
WARNING: Checking for jobs... failed runner=HPExCBDa status=couldn't execute POST against http://localhost:3000/api/v4/jobs/request: Post http://localhost:3000/api/v4/jobs/request: dial tcp [::1]:3000: connect: connection refused
Feeding runners to channel builds=0
Feel free to close this if this was just a mistake/misunderstanding on my part ( this is also why I am writing an issue and not creating a MR to update the docs )
