Track success rates and usage for AI stack setup
Problem Statement
We don't have visibility into AI stack setup performance. We don't know success rates for setup commands, which components engineers are configuring, or where setup is failing.
Impact
Without this data, we can't tell which components fail most often or which ones engineers actually use.
Proposal
Add telemetry to GDK setup commands to track AI stack configuration. When engineers run setup commands, GDK collects data on whether setup succeeded or failed, how long it took, and what errors occurred for each AI component.
Build a dashboard that shows success rates per component, which components engineers use most, and trends over time.
Expected Outcome
-
GDK setup commands send telemetry data -
Dashboard displays success rates, usage counts, and failure patterns for each AI component
Impacted categories
The following categories relate to this issue:
-
gdk-reliability - e.g. When a GDK action fails to complete. -
gdk-usability - e.g. Improvements or suggestions around how the GDK functions. -
gdk-performance - e.g. When a GDK action is slow or times out.
