Cannot upgrade PostgreSQL version via gdk update
Overview
I noticed an issue with PostgreSQL version upgrade when using gdk update
.
gdk update
:
When running There's no prompt to perform the upgrade after a warning message about the PostgreSQL version difference, and the command seems to be stuck in the terminal.
WARNING: PostgreSQL data directory is version 13 and must be upgraded to version 14.9 before GDK can be updated.
make update
:
When running There's a prompt to upgrade PostgreSQL after a warning message.
⚠️ WARNING: PostgreSQL data directory is version 13 and must be upgraded to version 14.9 before GDK can be updated.
This will run 'support/upgrade-postgresql' to back up and upgrade the PostgreSQL data directory. Are you sure? [y/N]:
