Act as a steward for the wider GitLab community
He has helped at least 4 contributors create their first MR in the Gitlab Q4 2022 Hackathon.
Help GitLab live up to its mission
He is writing a blog post about shadowing Wayne Harber as part of the Developer Director Shadow Program.
Help GitLab live up to its values
What he liked about his GSoC project, which adds mailmap support to GitLab (through adding it to a Git command), is that it improves GitLab for its contributors, as it allows the names in the commit to be changed before they are actually displayed. So it helps with DIB issues.
