A revert in a merge request overrides the squashed commit message
We are currently running GitLab Enterprise Edition 11.10.1-ee. I have set fast forward merges with squashed commits when we accept a merge request (MR) into master on my repository. This results in a nice and clean master history of single commits per MR with the MR title being the commit message.
But I have experienced a couple of times now, that when there is a revert commit in a MR it will override the message when pressing the merge button.
So now we have a couple of “Revert commits” in the master history that are actually merge requests with the MR contents. To be clear only the title is buggy, the contents of the MR remain untouched and are fine.
