Docs update: IP range for GitLab.com
Type of issue
Problem to solve
Users are often asking about the IP range of GitLab.com, and while it's answered in a couple of issues, it doesn't seem to be documented anywhere.
See https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/gl-infra/infrastructure/issues/434
Further details
Proposal
Add wording modified from Support's "standard" answer to cover the same information.
At the moment, infrastructure for GitLab.com, our CI/CD, and related services are deployed into GCP (Google Cloud Platform), so any IP based firewall can be configured by looking up all IP address ranges or CIDR blocks for GCP. For more information, please see the comment made by an infrastructure team member.
We recognize that this may not be ideal for our users, so we have an open issue which you can upvote, follow, and comment on regarding static endpoints.
Add it to the GitLab.com settings page
