Deleting a big repo is not working

Steps to reproduce

1. Open any huge repo with some issues and MRs
2. Go to settings and delete the repo
3. It will show it is deleted
4. Look after sometimes the files will be deleted but not the repo

What is the current bug behavior?

Deleting the repo is not working but it deletes only the files in it

What is the expected correct behavior?

When deleting the repo it must delete everything
