Focus change in pipeline widget causes horizontal shift, loss of input

Summary

Clicking in this scenario, will not restart the pipeline. Because the initial widget loses focus, it decreases in width, which causes the child (the popup) to shift to the left. This causes the click to be lost and you almost always have to open repeat the process. UX nightmare.
