Random repositories display "An error occurred while loading commit signatures"

On an instance with only few users - and only one active user - random repositories display the message "An error occurred while loading commit signatures" and the spinner for GPG Signature keeps on spinning. On hover, it displays the message "GPG signature (loading...)"

Steps to reproduce

No idea. Some projects with this error are new, other are old. Both old and new projects exist with the same permissions, but don't have this problem. However, I suspect it is connected to #54615 (moved), since I have multiple e-mail addresses for all the GPG keys I use.

What is the current bug behavior?

The frontend can't load the GPG signature for the commits and fails.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Either the "Verified" or the "Unverified" label to be visible.
