1-click cluster creation
Problem to solve
Once we are able to provide a cluster for free (Everyone gets a cluster), we remove a lot of the items that cause friction at creation-time.
(Include use cases, benefits, and/or goals)
Provide a 1-click method to create a cluster, where we automatically choose machine type, zone, scaling, etc. The user could still have an "advanced" option where some of these values could be selected, but the default is we populate all these values for you.
Additionally, if GitLab PaaS allows us to have n number of clusters on standby, we can simply pull one of those clusters and associate it at the level the user is creating the cluster, this would cut down on the time it takes to spin up a new cluster.
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Users are able to easily create clusters and we radically cut down the time it takes to create one.
