Clicking an image within an issue / MR results in the image being downloaded
Problem to solve
Clicking an image within an issue / MR results in the image being downloaded. Whilst this is a useful function, I feel the default should be to show the image within the browser.
I feel having the image render within the browser is a better UX and also more consistent with many other Web UI's out there.
- Click image, image is 'previewed' so you can see more, but also ensuring the issue / MR is still visible in the background, perhaps shaded?
- As well as the image being displayed, I think it would also be useful to be able to download the image as well as the ability to scroll right and left if there are more images contained within the issue / MR.
What does success look like, and how can we measure that?
Clicking an image in an issue / MR shows the image as large as appropriate within the browser by default.
