discussions are not shown inline code anymore after changes to the code (on the merge request screen)

On the merge request screen there are three tabs: Discussion, Commits and Changes. I (assignee for the MR) review the code and changes and add comments to code lines. After my developers have fixed my remarks I want to see and review the new code for each discussion. Unfortunately very often a discussion is not in the Changes tab anymore but only listed in the Discussion tab. There I can not see the new code but only a note about "commit ... has changed this line". When I click on this link I could see the new code but I have to find to concerned code line first to review it. If I agree (or not agree) to the new changes a have to go back to the Discussion tab, search for the discussion and after this add a comment or resolve the discussion.

This workflow is very annoying.

I want to have the discussion and the new code in the same place for reviews. To see also the old code would be helpful, too. Maybe you could integrate such feature in the side-by-side view.
