Add Information to the Docs Regarding GitLab Pages Restrictions and Limitations
It would be nice to have some information added to the docs regarding restrictions and limitations placed on GitHub Pages personal sites and the source repositories they are built from, this information should include:
- Maximum site/site-repo size - I can find information about the maximum sizes of regular repositories, but no information regarding the size of published websites. GitHub has a hard limit for sites, but a soft limit for the repo.
- Maximum bandwidth quota - I cannot find this information anywhere.
I was looking online within the docs for this information but could not find it so I assumed it to be missing.
It seems that GitHub has provided this information for its own Pages hosting at: https://help.github.com/articles/what-is-github-pages/ but I see no similar documentation for GitLab Pages.
Some more information that could be added would be some questions I have seen in the forums a lot:
- If a Pages site is published from a private repository, will it still be available to the public.
- It is not always clear in the docs that the site will only be built from the public folder in master branch.
