Display information on the merge request pipelines table to be more useful and more clear
This is a follow up issue from https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/issues/37860#note_42131042 as some of the improvements mentioned in that discussion were out of scope.
Problem
Currently the merge request pipeline table displays information in exactly the way as the global pipeline table view does. This results in some information being either obsolete, redundant or displayed in a way that is less clear (especially as some of this information is already known).
Design
Change the following information shown in the pipeline table on Merge requests view only
-
Get rid of "Latest" badge
- Is not necessary in the merge request pipeline list, as the upper most pipeline will always be the latest, as all pipelines already run on the same branch. (This will most probably be already fixed with #37860 (closed))
-
Change layout and information in commit column
- For example, in a merge request, it is not important to know on which branch the pipeline ran, as they all run on the same branch anyway within a merge request. On the other hand, knowing the branch name in the project pipeline list is far more important, while the commit title is less informative. vs
