Long lines of text should be left-aligned, not centered
Whole paragraphs and long lines of text should not be centered. Text that is centered is more difficult to read because both edges of the paragraph are uneven, making it harder for the eye to track the lines of text.
Example of long lines of centered text:

Left-aligned:
