Run gitlab w/ JavaScript disabled

I manage a gitlab CE installation where some of my users like to browse without enabling JavaScript. We have noticed the UI is almost unusable for them. Have you tested functionality for users w/ JS disabled? If I'd patch the app to work without JS would you be interested in a merge request? Or is it something you do not plan to support?
