Can't view diffs on merge requests after update to 9.4

Summary

After updating to 9.4 the commits and changes section of merge requests is blank. It know the number of commits and changes but when click on the tab nothing appears. Not seeing any errors in the log files.

When creating a new merge request it does show the changes and the commit messages, but once created they won't show.

Steps to reproduce

Update from 9.3 to 9.4 and view a merge request. Our GitLab is installed from source.

Can't view changes and commits on merge requests

What is the expected correct behavior?

To be able to see the changes and commits on merge requests

Relevant logs and/or screenshots

Don't see any errors in the log files.
