Unable to import project from GitHub

Summary

I'm trying to import my project from GitHub.com to GitLab.com

Steps to reproduce

1. Fork some project on GitHub.com

2. Try to import it to GitLab.com

What is the current bug behavior?

The error message is displayed:

Error saving project: Import url must be a valid URL,Unable to save project. Error: Import url must be a valid URL

What is the expected correct behavior?

The project should be imported.
