Open with Git Client button
Desktop Git clients are often used. @mydigitalself even made a Chrome plugin to support them in GitLab. I think we should ship that out of the box.
open in X button that is user configurable to each project.
By default we should set this to Tower (? arguably the best Git Client around, but not free), but it should be configurable per user between either of:
- GitHub Desktop
- Atlassian Sourcetree
- Tortoise Git
- ? (I'm sure the community will contribute more)

@mydigitalself what do you think?
(Write the start of the documentation of this feature here, include:
- Why should someone use it; what's the underlying problem.
- What is the solution.
- How does someone use this
During implementation, this can then be copied and used as a starter for the documentation.)
Tower already offers a custom URL scheme that could be used for this: https://www.git-tower.com/help/mac/integration/url-scheme In case of questions: I'm happy to help!
I use standard git, for me it's enough with copying the git url to the clipboard, a button like this will have no use so I would like it to be hidden somewhere so it doesn't clutter the screen.
Agreed, I'm that kind of user.
This might be helpful for users who aren't as git savvy. I think it is a generally good idea since we want to eventually become the place to host open source projects
Yes please, although I'm not sure it'll work for GitHub Desktop since the new version only supports GitHub repos.
