Make 'Projects' page clearer and easier to see own projects

I have my own repos in GitLab but everytime when I open Projects page I have to search them or change listing parameters.

This is what I see when I open Projects page

However I have these repos owned by me

Maybe we can show user own repos at the top or in a new tab.

Proposal

Keep “Your projects” in the sense of “projects that I have access to”, and add sub-tabs as we do for the Activity page:

  • All: all projects the user is a member of
  • Personal: projects in the user's personal namespace

These sections provide more clarity to what the user is viewing.

Original proposal

Add a new tab and change the current Your projects tab to Group projects resulting in: image

Group projects will hold all projects that belong to the groups you are part of and which you are able to see. Your projects will hold all projects that you've created under your personal space

This will also have a minor implication on the preferences settings (where it needs to be added as an item): image image
