labels for issues should be treated like tags and easier to make
The current implementation of labels for issues is very slow when compared to creating tags on other websites. Furthermore I have to do the same thing for each project. Now I understand that this is done so the user can select a color for the tag. However, I would argue that productivity is more important than selecting the "perfect color" for a label.
In this example you can see if I want a new label I have to create which could take upwards of 30 seconds. (mind you I have 20 projects right now in gitlab)
Now in this example (from github) it takes one sec to have the label I want. All I have to do is start typing and hit enter.
Good example here with suggestions built in (github)
Now the difference between these two examples is that the gitlab issues allows the user to choose a color and the github example does not. I think the label should auto choose a color upon creation and if the user wants a different color they can spend the time to chose the special color. I could personally care less what color it is.
This would probably save everyone who uses gitlab 5 min with every project.
