GitLab Service Alerts
As we continue to improve the ability for end-users to monitor their GitLab instances, we should also consider packaging some important alerts that we ourselves have found to be important. This may include simple things like disk space, but more importantly could include more subtle issues perhaps in Sidekiq.
Based on our operations and customer support teams, we should come up with a set of important and useful alerts that apply to a broad set of installations. This would essentially become the "best practices" that we recommend customers look out for, and can hopefully warn end-users of any problems before they affect the GitLab service significantly.
