After attempting to import old project: Import version mismatch - stuck at error, can't attempt any other import
Summary
I exported a project from GitLab 8.13 (if I recall correctly) a while back, which is now deleted. I just set up a new 8.16 install, and I can't import the project. First of all, that's super annoying, as now I would have to go set up another older install just to import it, then upgrade that install to 8.16, then export again to get it on this instance. But it gets stuck at the error screen. I cannot attempt to import any other file or URL.
Steps to reproduce
- Insert some issues and comments into an older GitLab install
- Export the project to a zip file
- Attempt to import the zip file into a new project on a GitLab 8.16 install
- "Import version mismatch: Required 0.1.5 but was 0.1.4"
Expected behavior
Ideally, it should be able to import from older versions. But at the worst, this error screen should allow me to try a different import file or URL.
Actual behavior
There is no button to try another import file or URL. The URL box is greyed out/not editable (cursor turns to circle with cross through it). Going back to the project page and clicking Import returns to this same page. There is a "Start Import" button which leads to a 500 error
