UX Research: Rehabilitate the sidebar
Description
First of all I am aware that the UI shouldn't change every month and a big redesign occurred few month ago. I just had a thought that I wanted to share with you.
Proposal
The main subject of my thinking is the organization of navigation according to the scope. Currently everything is mixed: global element, project related elements... 
blue: global elements, red: project related elements
Besides, it's more common to use the horizontal bar to the first level navigation and sidebar for second level navigation.
Small detail, I remove the caret from profile icon, imo they are useless. Facebook or google doesn't use it:
