Closing issue manually, or via merge request, causes issue to disappear from issue board
Fix
To be fixed together with #24215 (closed).
Summary
If I close an issue using the Close Issue
button on the issue itself, it disappears from the issue board. It will reappear if I manually remove any tag corresponding to an issue board list. The same occurs when an issue linked to a merge request is automatically closed upon merge. Neither of these actions seems to be "issue board aware", and the issue board itself is blind to issues that are simultaneously "in a list" and closed.
Steps to reproduce
- Create an issue board with some lists
- Create a new issue
- Transition the issue to a list by dragging and dropping in the issue board
- Open the issue detail page; click
Close Issue
- Return to the issue board; the issue is nowhere to be found in any column
OR
- Create an issue board with some lists
- Create a new issue
- Transition the issue to a list by dragging and dropping in the issue board
- Create a merge request and link to the issue using for example
Fixes #17
in the body - Merge
- Return to the issue board; the issue is nowhere to be found in any column
Expected behavior
I expect to see the closed issue in the Done
column of the issue board.
Actual behavior
The closed issue is missing from the issue board.
