Issue Hold Date
Description
Sometimes the world is messy and you cannot begin work on an issue because you need to wait for someone, or for something to happen. If you could mark an issue as "Waiting," then that would make it easy to filter out issues that are not fixable. But just adding a label doesn't help as much as this proposal:
For example, Say Dev A is waiting on some designer. "Yo, bro! Have it with you by the end of the week". Until that happens the issue is cluttering up the views. It's completely normal for a bunch of people to be waiting on a bunch of other things.
Proposal
Issues to have an optional "hold date" that can be set.
Hold dates should have some warning when set into the distant future, e.g. over 30 days from now.
Hold dates should be datetime fields.
Default views should move items on hold to the bottom of the list.
If a label were used instead, then someone would have to look at those issues in turn until they identified one which is ready to be dealt with. This would be a pain when you may have items that are on a short time-scale and items that are on a long timescale (Get new ssl cert 01/01/2020).
