More flexible matrix jobs

Massive parallelisation makes it hard to add additional test variants. This results in a really long CI configuration: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/blob/master/.gitlab-ci.yml.

We should think about some way to make the jobs templates or add a support for matrix builds.
