Description of the problem
We set up a local git server using GitLab and the server became inaccessible for some reason or another, it went down. When the server was brought back up, the repositories were not there anymore but the links to the git project repos still existed. The following message was printed on the screen...
"No repository The repository for this project does not exist. This means you can not push code until you create an empty repository or import existing one."
We tried booting a back up of the server but still this error persists. Not all of our repositories have this issue. out of about 50 repos, 3 seem to be working fine.
Which Group/Project (with full path) is experiencing the issue?
Most of them.
Approximate date/time when the error occurred.
We're not exactly sure when it happened.
Describe what you were doing right before the issue occurred.
The git server was not accessed for a month or so, when it was accessed to download some repositories they were not there.
