Use Godep?

I see this project uses govendor now. I think we use Godep on three other projects now (gitlab-ci-multi-runner, gitlab-pages, gitlab-workhorse). Would it make sense to stick with that for now?

Reading https://blog.gopheracademy.com/advent-2016/saga-go-dependency-management/ it seems that there is now a consolidated effort to add a better dependency manager to Go itself, and from the sound of that blog post existing dependency managers are expected / hoped to become obsolete.

I would rather not learn govendor when something better is coming and the existing tool also works well enough.
