[IMPORTANT] Upcoming changes to CI/CD minute limits for your free GitLab.com account
Effective October 1, 2020, GitLab will update the CI/CD minute limit for GitLab.com free tier. As GitLab has grown over the years, we’re incredibly humbled by the number of users who choose to use our free platform. As the adoption of our free product has scaled, so have the underlying costs to support it. As we are committed to continue to support the free product for the larger community, we need to implement further CI/CD limits on GitLab.com. This change is only applicable to free GitLab.com users—current GitLab.com paid tiers and all self-managed GitLab tiers will remain unchanged.
CI/CD Minutes We are updating the CI/CD minutes limit in the Free tier to 400 minutes per group per month, with the ability to purchase additional CI/CD minutes at $10 for 1000 minutes (valid for a year). CI/CD minute usage can be reduced in a number of ways, including bringing your own runners http://email.gitlab.com/wVXCwwOVB0010elU30r040W.
For more information on this change and how to manage and reduce your CI/CD minutes usage, please visit our customer FAQ http://email.gitlab.com/DVJw10w0CVX00T3lBw0e0Or. To address your questions and feedback, we have created a space in the GitLab Community Forum http://email.gitlab.com/I0l3XVX0BweLwO0r0U0VC01, which is actively monitored by GitLab Team members and Product Managers involved with this change.
Thank you for the trust you place in GitLab to help you deliver software faster and more efficiently. We appreciate your use of GitLab.com and look forward to delivering more value to you every month.
