Add support for patterns with git for-each-ref --start-after

When using something like: git for-each-ref --start-after=refs/heads/xxx we're returned cannot use --start-after with patterns. This would be useful functionality for us to know when we're at the end of a certain kind of ref (i.e. the last of refs/heads or refs/remotes) and allow us not to return other ref types when using --start-after for pagination.
