Duo Adoption - Integrating AI Prompts into Our Workflow
Overview
As part of GitLab's AI Transformation Initiative, our team needs to integrate Duo's agentic capabilities into our daily workflows. This is about driving real value through AI adoption, not just checking boxes.
Our Goal: Select and implement 3+ high-impact AI prompts that solve real problems in our current workflow.
What We Need to Do
1. Identify Pain Points
Let's discuss and identify 3-5 real pain points in our team's workflow where AI can make a meaningful difference:
- What repetitive tasks take up significant time?
- Where do we struggle with quality or consistency?
- What processes could be more efficient?
2. Select Impactful Prompts
Each prompt we choose should meet at least one of these criteria:
Results Impact: Faster delivery, higher quality, improved customer satisfaction, reduced cycle time Quality Improvement: Fewer defects, better code reviews, enhanced documentation, increased test coverage
Efficiency Gains: Save 30+ minutes per week, reduce context switching, accelerate decisions
3. Document and Implement
For each selected prompt, we'll document:
- The specific use case and problem it solves
- Expected impact and how we'll measure it
- Example of the prompt in action
- Adoption plan for the team
