Welcome to GitLab Peter Hegman as our first Frontend Engineer! 🎉

🦊 Feature Functionality and Improvements

Since this is a small team and this our first official release, I've kept the issues to a minimum to discuss with you all first on our weekly group call. Mainly there are some user profile improvements alongside some bugs and security issues. In the future we will likely have a dedicated planning meeting for this if the date falls too far away from the weekly group call.

🤔 Why is this important?

We have an opportunity to chip away at some of the higher priority bugs and security issues while things are somewhat quiet and folks are onboarding. In addition, the user profile work is a great way to introduce the working relationship between the newer folks in Design and Engineering as well as introduce a couple of small but impactful features for our wider community.

🎢 User Experience & Design

We are continuing the problem validation work from 12.8 by working on visionary designs for the Workspaces category and also deciding on what our first baby steps towards that vision might look like. We aim to work on solution validation in the last week or so of 12.9 to ensure it's in a good state to hand off to engineering. Stay tuned 😊

Typically we would also complete the following to do list and I will be creating these planning issues earlier in the future on or near to the 4th as per our planning timeline.
