Overview

The initial process will be addressing our Go language updates. The general project goal targets all language updates.

For this reason, we should consider carefully where and how we will maintain the build images.

Expected deliverables

Identify whether the build.next and build.current series of images for language runtimes and compiler tools should live in:

• https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-omnibus-builder
• a separate repository for clarity
