Show label descriptions on issue/MR management page
Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.
Issue
It is difficult for contributors to assign correct labels, as it requires knowledge. Usually they have a description and it is displayed in the GitLab interface:
However, on the assign labels page (contributors.gitlab.com/manage-issue) they are not visible, although that is where they are most needed:
Feature Request
Label descriptions could be displayed for checkboxes and dropdowns:
- On mouse hover (hint should not interfere with clicking the checkbox)
- Or opposite the label name (in brackets or in a separate "column"; can be displayed in a different color)
