Postgres.ai Enterprise Edition Evaluation

Postgres.ai Database Lab has an enterprise offering that we will pilot with the active @gl-database team members.

Postgres.ai is the engine behind Joe, a Postgres query optimization bot to boost backend development process

The enterprise license version has additional features such as:

• Session sharing
• Time savings on spinning database instances
• Advanced UI (no more shared slack channel)
• Centralized storage for checkup

Cost - the Enterprise license model is $20 per user per month

• There are 12 members of gl-database (excluding Nik)
• Total cost for the 6 month evaluation is $1440

Timeline -

• Evaluate its benefits for six months
• The timeline can be shortened if the value is obvious immediately

ROI

• We will need to check in regularly on the cost savings of this tool
• Updating this issue (or a separate issue) with savings
