Batched background migration estimation is off significantly

Problem statement

We are currently experiencing a discrepancy between the estimated time for a batched background migration and the actual time taken in production. The estimation for sample batches was an approximate duration of 1 month and 6 days, but now that the migration is running in production, it’s tracking towards a significantly longer timeframe of around 7 months.
